Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Sorry, I know its been a while, but really there just hasn't been alot of things going on in my life that are worth reading about. I have begun to read again. Mostly old books that I finished because I cant really get into newer books without knowing where to start looking.

Mostly been sitting here being a film connoisseur, pretty much any movie that you can think of ive seen, and im so bored that im gonna give you a little review on a few.

The curious tale of Benjamin button

well the story is as such where a dude is born and he is ugly as fuck. you later find out that he is really growing younger as he ages. He has adventures, mischievous and also has a love affair that at one point borders on child predator territory till you remember that he's only like 8 or something. All in all I really liked this movie, but it left me with a feeling similar to someone who I don't know walking up to me and yelling at me for 20 mins asking what the fuck am I doing with my life.

Taken

I have to say I was hesitant to watch this because of all the hype around it, even my mom who frequents china town for her video needs said this is "the sickest movie known to man and anyone who doesn't like it is a dumbass" way to go mom, she's down with the lingo.. she's hip. Anyway's this is about a muy pissed off father who's daughter is a lying skank and goes to France to follow U2 cuz the mom says its ok. She gets TAKEN and the father who is shindler from shindler's list goes apeshit in an all out pursuit. The coolest line which is also on the posters for this movie, "I dont know who you are,but if you dont let my daughter go. I will find you, I will kill you." pretty much sums this movie up. I can totally see myself doing this is someone stole my daughter. it would just be alot slower since I dont have a gun and I dont know kung fu

Slumdog Millionaire

Ok well I watched this movie before I knew how big a deal it was, so my mind isn't tainted by the douchebags yelling in my ear that this movie is godly and perfect beyond all reason. But even with that in mind, I gotta say that I really do love this film. Something about an underdog story has a place in my heart. I loved the characters and the cheesy/amazing Bollywood feel of it. PLUS it actually showed that alot of the world is assbackwards in its thinking without forcing the idea down your throat. Dev Petal is a pretty decent actor but since he's brown, this will probably be his last role.

Blindness

Take survivor, yeah that shitty show, and add aspects on I am legend and then throw a bag over your head so you cant see and you have this movie. Ok so the story goes like this, this asian guy goes blind for no reason and then it spreads to everyone , people freak out and lock the blindies into compound and let them deal with the shit storm themselves, Everything is good until one jackass starts to take the food and makes everyone trade shit for it, Funny thing is one of the people there can see everything going on. and she doesn't take your bullshit. For such a bad premise I have to say that I really enjoyed this movie. I mean sure, im think in that people who are actually blind hate this film because 1. they cant see it. and 2. it basically has the notion that once you go blind, you because an evil sonova bitch. I kinda laughed that the blindness was caused by an asian guy, it reminded me of SARS. just he was pretty, people who gave me SARS were not.

serious what the fuck moment

So I was lying down getting ready to go to bed, and something told me to type in awesome news on Google. I woke out of my slumber and found this house as one of the links. I was initially going to post it because I thought the house looked well awesome. But then I start reading more about the homes and THEY ARE MADE BY TWO OF MY OLD FRIENDS FROM JOHN CABOT CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL.

"Is This The Most Awesome House in Toronto?

There's a real estate company called Prestige Living, founded earlier this year by 22-year-olds Philip Sywash and Casper Larski. As the company name suggests, it's an upscale-only kinda deal, with houses—well, mansions—starting at $1 million. A vast majority of the houses offered are classy and sophisticated, just what you'd expect and hope for on the outskirts of Toronto for the deep-pocketed."
